Practice Areas

If you have been injured or have suffered the loss of a loved one as a result of someone else’s negligence or recklessness, you are entitled to recover money damages for the full extent of your loss. These damages may include compensation for your past and future medical expenses, past and future wage loss or loss of wage earning capability, pain and suffering, disability or physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life experienced in the past and to be experienced in the future. You may also recover compensation for non-economic damages such as physical pain, emotional pain and suffering. If you suffer any permanent scarring, disfigurement or loss or impairment of any important bodily function, you are entitled to compensation for those damages, as well.

Wrongful death
While there is no adequate compensation for the loss of loved one, we take to heart the responsibility we owe our grieving clients.  In the event of a wrongful death — through negligence or misdeed of another person — know that we’ll vigorously represent you, as we seek justice for your deceased loved one.  We’ll work to safeguard your interests, and obtain compensation for you, including:

  • Pain & suffering
  • Funeral and burial expenses
  • Loss of consortium, affection and companionship
  • Punitive damages

We can’t pretend to make your life whole again, but we’ll do everything within our power to recover money for the loss in terms of damages that may be measured.
Some states have time limitations on how long after death a wrongful death action may be filed. Don’t wait to contact us.

Automobile Accidents
During the course of your lifetime, you are likely to be involved in at least one automotive collision. More than 12 million auto accidents occur each year on our nation’s roads — from the relatively inconsequential fender-bender to the most horrifying multiple car pile-ups – all of which can cause injury or death.  We have successfully represented clients who have been the victims of drunk drivers, hit and run drivers, and people who have suffered injuries from the uninsured.

Motorcycle accidents
More than 80 percent of all reported motorcycle accidents result in injury or death.  Motorcyclists have the same rights on the highway as any other motorists.  When drivers fail to honor those rights, injury or death may occur.

Pedestrian accidents
Both drivers and pedestrians must follow the laws of the road.  When a pedestrian is struck by several thousand pounds of metal and glass, even a low-speed collision may cause serious injury or death.

Slip and fall / Premises liability
Slip and fall accidents kill more people each year than any type of accident other than automobile crashes.  Our office only accepts slip and fall cases that involve serious injury, such as a broken bone, significant scar, or a spinal injury.

Dog bite / injury
About 1,000 dog-bite victims per day are seen in emergency rooms. These people suffer permanent scarring and disfigurement.  Our office has handled hundreds of these cases and limits its representation to cases involving facial injury or scarring or serious bites requiring hospitalization.
